DiscrimiNATION

This is a piece I did after attending an event about Park51 in NYC. The entire night was incredibly  captivating. It inspired me to do a piece for social justice. America is known as the melting pot, a nation built up of multiple cultures, that's what makes it so great! The Statue of Liberty was a landmark for all of the immigrants who came here in search of freedom and liberty, for human rights. However some people cannot look past race and assume that anyone who is not a white Christian, is not American. This piece represents the struggle that Muslims and people of different race have to go through for social justice and equality along with immigrants and the hypocrisy of what America represents. America or not, we all live on one planet, we are all human beings, everyone deserves the rights of liberty.

Birthday Card for MOM!

Teaching myself how to paint in Photoshop. The colors did not transfer over well. These are quite dull compared to the original. I'll have to figure out how to fix that.

Characters for my animated Christmas Card

These are the characters I created in Adobe Photoshop for my animated Christmas card I am currently working on. It will be finished early December

Everything is gonna be ok.

This is a sketch for a digital photoshop/mixed media series I'm starting based around the phrase - "Everything is gonna be ok." (still working on the phrase...Everything will be ok? be alright? It's going to be ok?...feedback is helpful)

My Culver Lake series for Illustration - Mixed Media

They aren't the best photos, but thought I'd give an idea of what I've been working on. You loose a lot in the very colorful life guard one. A lot of texture is missing and a lot of detail is lost in the background. I'll post better images soon.

My Children's book in progress

This is the beginning of my recreation of The Emperor's New Suit in a new time and place for my Children's Book class.
